All About the Journey

I’ve been away from Tumblr for a good while.  It’s been interesting, the events that’ve been unfolding over the current month.  This writing session doesn’t mean a return to tumblr.  Still, it’s the only source that suits these thoughts or feeling right now. Much has gone south, and plenty of what’s happening isn’t quite clear even now.  Here are a few things I do understand though.  My outlook has strengthened, my instincts have gained range and scope.  Desire can still lead to failure.  Take on maturity’s mean challenge.  Gained perspective brings death to certain pre-established perspectives.  Punctuality is important.  How things are said are not as important as what’s being said and as fast as things are given, the next second can shockingly have them taken away.   A friend supports no matter what, your family will stick with you, so take care of your fellow blood.  Give thanks to the life you got, work feverishly on to get what you want and lastly The Walking Dead is an amazing show.

It’s been ages since I’ve watched wrestling, but without a doubt my favourite wrestler of all time. Horrible

Remember Razor Ramon? the Bad guy oozing machismo?? former wrestling superstar Scott Hall tells us the tragic story of his life battling alcoholism and drug addiction while still trying to hold on to the glory he once found in the ring. very depressing.

Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations. All this is put in your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honor it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children.” - Albert Einstein

That Strong & Silent Type: jadedfucker: You call it Occupy Wall Street, I call it Hipster...

jadedfucker:

You call it Occupy Wall Street, I call it Hipster Revolution. Get at me when you start something worthwhile that we can all fight for and benefit from.

I’m sorry that mace in the face is nothing compared to what my people have gone through for centuries and still go through at the hands of the police and court systems and government in general in this country. If it were mostly black people(perhaps with a few whites, instead of the opposite) out there with their little signs, the damage would be so much more unimaginably immense, there would be no mace, there would be tanks and guns and killing and blood, everywhere.

I’m sorry that calling yourself the 99% just shows that you are actually counted as part of the percentage of anything in this country and my people are rarely ever counted.

I’m sorry that being poor is nothing like the ongoing genocide people of color in this country have had to continuously endure.

I’m sorry that your parents are in debt for sending you off to college and now you don’t have a job from it, yet my people rarely have any opportunity compared to your’s unless it is to fill a quota.

I’m sorry that i just can’t get behind something that again is glorifying the poor little white kids when things like the London riots were seen as solely done by “thugs” because they were mostly of color.

I’m sorry that you are doing nothing real to change the world.

I’m sorry that all of your privilege is showing hardcore while the rest of us STILL DO NOT HAVE A VOICE!

I’m sorry that you are making me want to throw up by posting these things over and over on my dashboard, just always so easily showing where you truly stand with all of the other faux “anarchists” who will only stand for something that will benefit themselves.

And lastly, I am sorry that you do not seem to EVER understand the idea of deflation and inflation in the economy ruled by capitalism and how they compliment each other and cannot happen unless it’s hand in hand, and will never ever know what it is like to be a part of a world where the inflation NEVER benefits you and the deflation only makes your miserable unprivileged existence closer to death.

You are all quite pathetic. Take your Hipster Revolution and shove it up your tiny penis hole.

This right here is the fucking truth.

Nah foo, this is not the fucking truth. Yeah this movement’s face is largely white and the “hipsters” are really vocal about it. Take a second to step back and think about it for a minute. This is a white country, majority of the population and control politics and economics, where a relatively very few people are benefiting in this system and continually getting richer and richer. The majority of the people are reacting and speaking out against the bullshit system. Who’s gonna drop their shit and occupy a park in new york first with no real plan of action? Hipster white kids will be the majority of this group. Whether they “make change” or not isn’t the question, they already have. It’s still happening right now while yo black ass is whinin about something nobody can control(the past). Get yo ass up from behind ya macbook, you hipster. Go down and occupy yo city, step up in the wallstreet forum and speak this knowledge for our people. Our generation is hipster, whether you identify with it or not, because at the end of the day we have to live in this society and we’ll be in charge of it one day. The movement has no goal. It is being formed every general assembly. Come speak about the plight of Lost Africans in America in this movement. Bring friends, solidarity is successful. Honestly, if #OccupyWallStreet has inspired you to do anything, stand up and speak your mind dude.

First off, I don’t have a macbook, because I am not a hipster. Second, no I will not go occupy my city because it doesn’t solve shit! Where the fuck are you getting your food from? A fucking grocery store, that you don’t own, that you don’t have any control over. Where the fuck are you getting your power from? Where the fuck did you get the tent from that you are camping out in? Where the fuck did you get anything you are using right now or during the protests? From some business establishment.

Third, this shit is not new for anyone minority or lower economic person, we have always dealt with this corrupt system from day one. To think that now all of a sudden since the majority white folks are dealing what we deal with it’s ok to support them when our issues are still being ignored? Fuck that, ya’ll wanna cry about police brutality? Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and see just how many black and brown people have been brutalized by some fucking pigs in uniform, all the while the white community hasn’t said shit about it.

If you wanna side with this bullshit then go right ahead, just ignore us and get off your own fucking computer and occupy your city. We have never been in charge of this society because we do not control our resources. That is the most fucking basic law of life. Fuck racism, Fuck economics, it is about survival and I am tired of explaining this shit to you naive-idealistic muthafuckers. So peacefully occupying the streets won’t do shit, we tried that remember? Something called the civil rights movement, but back then, America was still worried about their image to the rest of the world, tv’s didn’t have as much censorship as today, oh and guess what? We actually had a motherfucking plan and goal.

So while ya’ll bitch about corporations which you still support today, I’ll be here laughing because it’s suddenly a problem when white folks have to deal with it. Control your resources and then we can talk. Until then, please shut the fuck up

Picture aside… this is a great fucking point. One which I have yet to hear ANYONE who is in support of this bullshit movement talk about.

We Are The True 99%

afro-ninja:

When they came for the Natives, you said nothing

When they came for the Africans, you said nothing

When they came for the Mexicans, you remained silent

When they came for the Asians, you remained silent

Now they have come for you, and no one is left to speak for you

We are the true 99%, we always have been

We are the ones discriminated against 99% of the time

We are the ones who do 99% of the labor

We are the true 99%, we have always been; you are just now waking up
