Broken Dreams : Maury Povich
I love to travel. So much so that I quit my job and travelled the world this year. Then I got sick of travelling. Next year I vowed not to travel but, I always had one dream unfufilled…… Ever since I was a young lad, I’ve been going to Flatbush, Brooklyn at least once or twice a year to visit family. I absolutely love nYc and everytime I go, there’s always something new to...

A New Toronto on the Horizon →
“Council is too old, too white and too set in its ways.” With a new sheirff set to take over Toronto, there are also new councillors who’ll be in seats for the very first time. The face of Toronto for me has always been of various shades and backgrounds but above race, it seems Toronto in the past 15 years has been about the past over the future. With this new election, perhaps...

16-year-old: I'm fatherless, black, but no... →
- A short article from the Globe and Mail of a teen on the right path. Previously I linked an article that discussed the failing education of males. Find other role models, nurture a love of reading are some of the positive things his mother did. She had it right. Sorry, I couldn’t find anything to match the serioussness of the article……..

Multiculturalism...a Failure?? →
The Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel was recently quoted as saying “This multicultural approach, saying that we simply live side by side and live happily with each other has failed. Utterly failed.” An interesting article as the growing discontent over Islam in Europe. This comes after France has taken great strides to banish the niqab.  I also will be including an article where a French...

Me on the Mic: Part of Future "The Athlete" Series
Life is a game. It could be physical. It tempts you to rise above. Life is pain that flirts with glory. But whatever game is played, play it the best. Be intillegent, have fun, let loose and remain strong. Change the game by making it your own. Study and delegate.

Kobe vs Lebron: One on One →
-Personally I think Lebron would thrash Kobe. This is for a couple of reasons. Main reason being I hate Kobe and the Lakers. Second reason being that Lebron is an absolute beast. I’m not a Lebron loveer but this man would tear into anyone. One thing is for sure, I would without a doubt pay to see this. Read the article. Some good stuff.
